Equity Turst Associates plans to convert the former King's store to an enclosed Outlet Mall with a $3 million renovation were revealed by Bob Alevizos, the firm's development director, a the leasing session with Donn Scherer VP of real estate for Osco Drug Co. The Oulet Mall, scheduled for Spring 1983 opening, will contain 10 name brand off-price and manufacturer's outlet stores. The mall's design features stores of extra wide frontage with the full depth of each store visible, in contrast to the narrower frontage and tunnell-depth dimensions of most stores. Alevizos also said that the North End's widely acclaimed La Picolla Venezia will launch its first suburban location at Shaw's Plaza.
