RIBA green building committee complete solar shingles building project
Rhode Island Builders Association green building committee member David Caldwell Jr., at left, is proud of his building project in Narragansett that includes one of the first uses of "solar shingles" in Rhode Island.
With him are Stephen Hern and Robert Atkinson of CertainTeed Corp. The installation stood up to Hurricane Sandy without damage.
