Rich and Cardente of Cardente Real Estate lease 1,824 s/f
According to Cardente Real Estate, Tropical Smoothie Café has leased 1,824 s/f of restaurant space that will include a drive thru window at 45 Western Ave. This will be Tropical Smoothie Café's first location in the State of Maine and there are plans to add additional locations in Maine within the next several years.
Tropical Smoothie was founded in Tallahassee, Fla. in 1997 and now has 315 locations throughout the U.S.
The landlord of the property, Vincent Maietta, has had success in the development of retail centers on Western Ave. and Gorham Rd. Since 2011, Maietta has secured three new tenants to the Maine Market including Buffalo Wild Wings, Elevation Burger, and now Tropical Smoothie Café.
