Michael Richetelli and Fred Messore of Colonial Properties, Inc. in Orange picked up two year-end awards at the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Division (CID) annual awards dinner. The New Haven CID is a group of approximately 100 area commercial real estate professionals who meet monthly to exchange information and facilitate deals.
Richetelli, the outgoing chairman of the group was awarded with the retail sale "Deal of the Year" for the sale of 855 Boston Post Rd., West Haven to Universal Hotel Liquidators. Richetelli represented the buyer in the purchase of the 70,000 s/f retail property, which sold for $2.45 million.
Messore was awarded with the "Deal of the Year" for Most Completed Transactions in 2012 for facilitating 35 deals. This comes on the heels of him completing 29 deals in 2011, when he also was the award recipient for most transactions.
