RiverPark volunteers space to support the Children's Connection

RiverPark, a Class A office complex located at 800 Connecticut Ave., volunteered warehouse space and hosted the annual RiverPark Holiday Marketplace to support the Human Services Council's Children's Connection this holiday season. Nearly 30 vendors participated this year including local small businesses, artists and craftspeople. Proceeds from vendor registration were donated directly to the Children's Connection annual toy drive. In addition to the Holiday Marketplace, RiverPark donated space to house over 3,500 toys until their distribution.
"By volunteering a large space on our ground floor to collect gifts, wrap and organize for delivery, RiverPark was able to support the Children's Connection in a meaningful and impactful way," said David Block, first vice president of CB Richard Ellis and exclusive leasing agent for RiverPark.
Al Mirin, director of the Human Services Council and senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, said, "Our programs, including this season's toy drive, would not have the ability to reach thousands of neglected children in our area without the support of our neighbors, including the generosity bestowed upon us by RiverPark, its employees and tenants."
