Stamford, CT Robinson+Cole have elected Gregory Bennici, Kyle Hepner, Janet Kljyan, and Danielle Andrews Long as partners, as well as the promotion of Jessica Bardi, Raymond Carta, Audrey Goldman, Kathryn Mullin, and Diana Neeves to counsel, effective January 1, 2025. The new partners and counsel represent a range of practice areas, including business litigation, intellectual property, real estate, environmental, insurance and managed care and ERISA litigation.

New Partners:
Gregory Bennici is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Managed Care + ERISA Litigation group. He regularly litigates disputes related to group and individual welfare benefits, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), managed care contracts, health insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance coverage. Bennici also maintains a substantial business litigation practice, representing a variety of stakeholders in complex commercial disputes. Bennici is resident in the firm’s Stamford office.
Kyle Hepner is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Intellectual Property + Technology (IP+T) group and Artificial Intelligence team. He represents clients in a broad range of areas concerning IP+T, with a focus on patent litigation, Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, and building and managing U.S. and international patent portfolios. Hepner also has a strong background in patent landscape and risk analysis. He advises clients on emerging IP+T issues and offers critical insight and experience in a range of areas, including mechanical and electromechanical devices, smart grid and smart home technology, manufacturing systems and methods, vehicle sensor diagnostics and control systems, and designs. Kyle is a resident of the firm’s Washington, DC office.
Janet Kljyan is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Business Litigation group. She has developed extensive experience helping businesses and other institutional clients litigate and resolve their disputes across an array of industries, including real estate, health care, technology, insurance, manufacturing, education, and non-profits. Kljyan routinely handles cases before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in New York as well as courts in other jurisdictions involving issues of contract, intellectual property, trade secrets, unfair trade practices, land use, and employment disputes. Kljyan is a resident of the firm’s New York office.
Danielle Andrews Long is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Business Litigation group. She handles litigation matters involving commercial, real estate, banking, and land use disputes. In addition, Andrews serves as chair of the firm’s real estate litigation and title insurance litigation teams. She represents landowners and lenders in real estate title issues, representing title insurance companies in coverage matters and their insureds on policy claims related to property ownership, and routinely litigates complex title issues involving quiet title claims, missing heirs, adverse possession, mortgage equitable subrogation, easement rights, and forged deeds. She also represents national telecommunication companies in litigation concerning zoning appeals. Andrews is a resident of the firm’s Boston office.
New Counsel:
Jessica Bardi is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development group. Her practice concentrates on land use and environmental law and related litigation. Bardi counsels developers, landowners, businesses, and other organizations on local, state, and national land use and environmental regulations, and represents them in permitting for development projects. Her experience extends to zoning, planning, subdivision, local and state wetlands permitting, Chapter 91 licensing, the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, Army Corps of Engineers permitting, NPDES permitting and Chapter 21E. Jessica is a resident of the firm’s Boston office.
Raymond Carta is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Managed Care + ERISA Litigation group. He litigates disputes related to group welfare benefits, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), health insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance coverage. Carta has extensive experience handling a range of complex and sophisticated civil litigation matters. His experience includes trying both jury and bench trials as first and second chairs as well as successfully arguing substantive motions in multiple jurisdictions. Carta is a resident of the firm’s Stamford office.
Audrey Goldman is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Insurance + Reinsurance group. She advises and represents insurers in complex coverage disputes involving third-party claims. These claims generally concern large losses, mass torts, sexual abuse mass actions, and construction defects. Her experience includes litigating matters in both state and federal court, as well as through arbitrations. She also has experience representing reinsureds and reinsurers in complex reinsurance disputes, and in counseling clients concerning coverage for reinsurance claims. She also advises and defends insurers in extracontractual matters in Florida. Goldman is a resident of the firm’s Miami office.
Kathryn Mullin is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development group. Her practice focuses on representing lenders in multifamily housing transactions including bridge, construction and permanent financing transactions, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac transactions, and tax-exempt financing transactions. Mullin has extensive experience in transactions with state and federal tax credits, HAP contracts, ground leases, and a wide variety of subordinate debt. In addition, she has also assisted with the representation of multiple lenders in closing loans under the Fannie Mae M.TEB product line. Mullin is a resident of the firm’s Hartford office.
Diana Neeves is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications group. Her practice focuses on environmental, energy, land use, and telecommunications litigation, and regulatory compliance. Neeves’ litigation experience includes disputes related to air quality and chemical contamination, federal and state environmental enforcement actions, and administrative appeals. She works with clients on the clean-up of contaminated properties and helps clients evaluate, manage, and limit environmental risk associated with business and property transactions. Neeves is resident in the firm’s Stamford office.
