Sadiku of Real Estate Advisory Group LLC and D’Addabbo of MACK V Development arrange 3,500 s/f lease to CHILLAX cannabis dispensary

Putnam, CT CHILLAX, a prominent cannabis retailer, is set to open its doors in the Tractor Supply shopping center located at 97 Providence Pike (Rte. 44). The green light for adult-use cannabis operations was secured through approvals from the zoning commission in March of this year permitting cannabis to be sold legally in town. This paved the way for CHILLAX to finalize a lease agreement for space exceeding 3,500 s/f within the shopping center. According to sources, the store will be open later this year.

Belinda Sadiku from Real Estate Advisory Group LLC served as CHILLAX’S representative in navigating the leasing process, while Mark D’Addabbo of MACK V Development represented the landlord.

The strategic decision to establish the store in this specific location was determined by a number of key factors. Notably, the center boasts impressive repeat customer figures which are bolstered by the existing tenancy and its proximity to I-395. This advantageous location promises a steady stream of potential customers from a wide geographic area. Moreover, the site’s strong street visibility, coupled with both exceptional building and strong pylon signage, significantly contributed to CHILLAX’S decision to locate within this shopping center.

It’s noteworthy that CHILLAX is an emerging retail company, having secured multiple licenses from the state’s cannabis lottery process, that will be sharing the shopping center with other well-known, long term tenants Big Gary’s Discount Liquors and Tractor Supply. Currently, only two available spaces remain available offering prospective tenants the chance to capitalize on the thriving commercial environment cultivated by this dynamic lineup.

CHILLAX’S presence in the Tractor Supply shopping center marks a significant development in the local retail landscape. The confluence of favorable factors, including strategic location, robust visibility, and strong, national retail neighbors including CVS, Burger King, Stop & Shop amongst others, bodes well for CHILLAX’S prospects in serving the community while contributing to the vibrant commercial atmosphere of the area.
