Boston, MA Salon Mario Russo has returned this spring to the Seaport District in developer The Fallon Company’s new ultra high-end residential building, Twenty Two Liberty at Fan Pier. The Mario Russo brand of luxury service will cater to both residents and people who work in the area and the Financial District.

“We’ve been eagerly awaiting our return to the Seaport with a newly designed salon in a highly sought after location. I’m proud that we are still the first luxury salon in the Seaport and we can’t wait to welcome our valued clients back to a beautiful new experience,” said Mario Russo.

“We’re happy to welcome Salon Mario Russo back to Fan Pier,” said The Fallon Company president and CEO Joseph Fallon. “We’re continuously in search of best-in-class concepts that add to the neighborhood’s exceptional lifestyle experience and the award-winning service provided by Marioand his accomplished team certainly fit that criteria.”

Russo is overseeing the design for the 1,300 s/f salon, which will reflect his personal style and aesthetic.  The interior showcases one-of-a-kind details for a salon, including the line of Italian designed hairdressing furniture by Maletti; curated art commissioned by some of world’s best contemporary artists for the space; and muted earth tones of moss green and taupe that evoke the relaxing waterfront environment.  Like his Newbury Street salon, art will be a centerpiece of the overall design, reflecting Russo’s passion for art and longstanding involvement with the collections committee of the ICA.
