Scanlon of Grubb & Ellis | NNE sells 26,553 s/f for $2.5 million

According to Grubb & Ellis|Northern New England, a leading provider of integrated real estate services, Dan Scanlon, JD, CCIM sold the 101 Plaza, a 26,553 s/f neighborhood center.
The center was developed by Maurice Katz in the 1970s and operated by him and his family since then. Home to Harvest Market, Bedford Pharmacy, Aubuchon Hardware, Bedford Cleaners and Dunkin' Donuts, this is the first time the center has been on the market.
The buyer was 209 Route 101 Realty, LLC, an entity whose principals include Bill Greiner and Dick Anagnost, local investors. Greiner said, "Dick and I are very pleased to acquire this signature property at one of Bedford's landmark locations. We look forward to working with our tenants and are excited about opportunities for expansion and renovations."
Scanlon facilitated the transaction by assisting the seller, Federal Bank Shop Limited Partnership, as well as the buyer. According to the records of the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds, the selling price was $2.5 million.
