Sanford Brown College, a part of the Career Education Corporation family of schools, has expanded its campus at The Exchange by 5,126 s/f. The allied health school now leases about 20,000 s/f of classroom and office space.
The tenant was represented by Andrew Filler of CB Richard Ellis. The owner's managing agent, Acre Group, LLC, was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle vice president Gary Schless and executive vice president Christopher Ostop.
"As we continue expanding our programs to prepare people for allied healthcare careers, we found ourselves needing more classroom space. We're pleased to have the ability to expand at our current campus location," said Kurtis Peterson, president of Sanford Brown College.
"Sanford Brown has been a long term tenant at the Farmington Exchange and we are proud of the fact that they have chosen to further invest themselves at the Exchange," said Dan Charest, operations manager for Acre Group, LLC. "This speaks well of the Exchange, its management staff, and ownership's commitment to accommodating the growth needs of its existing tenants."
The Exchange, 270 Farmington Ave., is located along Rte. 4 directly across from the University of Conn. Health Center and sits on approximately 15 acres of land. The Exchange is a unique wood structure, three-story 250,000 s/f mixed-use office and retail building with two on-site restaurants.
