Schrantz appointed as chief operations officer at ROK Builders, LLC

ROK Builders, LLC, the hotel construction affiliate of Roedel Companies, LLC, has named Tad Schrantz as chief operations officer. Schrantz is responsible for meeting the organization's total revenue and quality targets. By establishing and managing performance standards for ROK Builders, Schrantz maximizes revenue, control costs and ultimately delivers optimal free cash flow to hotel owners and investors. He also contributes to the sales process by creating and maintaining relationships with owners and developers. Schrantz brings over 20 years of experience in construction, architecture and real estate development to ROK Builders. Most recently, he served as vice president at Millhouse 1889, where he managed the sales and marketing teams responsible for a pipeline of over 1,000 companies, developed and maintained key strategic partnerships throughout the United States and created a team of subject matter experts to develop the application estimating database. Prior to joining Millhouse 1889, he served as president of The MacMillan Company, a privately held commercial construction management and design-build firm focused on corporate, education and public projects. Actively involved in the community, Schrantz shares his experience with many organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Monadnock Habitat for Humanity and The Colonial Theatre. Schrantz has also served as a member of the Cheshire Career Center Regional Advisory Board and Lions Club. Schrantz received his master's degree from University of Colorado at Denver and bachelor of science in Finance/Investment Analysis from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. He is an Accredited LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Professional and a recent member of the American Institute of Architects and Associated General Contractors of America. In addition, he is a licensed architect in NH, VT, MA and CO.
