October 21, 2014 - Construction Design & Engineering
Senate Construction Corp. has won a National AGC Safety Award.
The safety award was given by the Associated General Contractors of Mass. at its Safety Awards Breakfast at the Boston College Club. These awards are based on a stringent, nationwide program and improved safety programs and awareness have made winning even more impressive. This year, the industry average lost work day incidence rate was 0.47. Award winners needed an incidence rate 25% below that or 0.35 in order to qualify.
"We are very pleased to be recognized by AGC and our peer group for an excellent safety record in the construction industry," said Bob France, president of Senate Const. "For Senate Construction, nothing is more important than ensuring the safety of our clients, employees, subcontractors, and the public."
