Shair of M&J Associates closes 1,225 s/f lease for Get In Shape For Women

According to Mark Shair, president of M&J Associates, Get In Shape For Women has opened at 8 Washington St. The 1,225 s/f store is located at the Cobbs Corner Shopping Center at the intersection of Rte. 27 and Washington St. Other tenants in the 50,000 s/f center include Rite Aid, Dunkin Donuts, Roberts Jewelry, Visions, and Antons Cleaners. According to Shair, "Get In Shape For Women is the fastest growing personal training chain in the U.S. The concept is to make small group, 1 to 4 women, personal training affordable. In less than four years more than 52 locations are open and an additional 105 locations are sold. Starting in New England, they have sold franchises throughout the U.S. Also, the economic model is very strong as evidenced by many multiple unit franchisees." M&J Associates represented the tenant as well as the landlord.
