Shair of M&J Associates leases 1,700 s/f to The Happy Chocolatier

According to Mark Shair of M&J Associates, Inc., The Happy Chocolatier has opened at Acton Woods Plaza. The Happy Chocolatier occupies 1,700 s/f and is a candy/confection store that features high quality hand- made chocolates and candy. They also carry ice cream and frozen yogurt. They were located for a number of years in another location in Acton and decided to relocate to Acton Woods Plaza, a much heavier trafficked location. Acton Woods Plaza is a 43,000 s/f shopping center located at the intersection of Rte. 27 and Rte. 2A (Great Rd). The center is anchored by CVS. Shair is the exclusive agent and represented the tenant and landlord in this transaction.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
