Shair of M&J Associates represents Feng Shui Restaurant in 8,800 s/f lease

According to Mark Shair, president of M&J Associates, Feng Shui Restaurant has opened at 801 Worcester St. ( Rte. 9). The 8,800 s/f restaurant is the site of the former Vinny Testa restaurant. It is adjacent to Chuck E Cheese. Feng Shui features a very upscale decor. The architect has designed several locations for Legal Sea Foods. The seating capacity is 250. The floor plan is varied with a main seating area, a sushi bar, and a hibachi room. In addition, it was designed for small party and business conferences in a greenhouse section on the north side of the building. According to Shair, "Feng Shui chose Rte. 9 metro west as the first location in the Boston Metro market. We are reviewing additional locations in eastern Mass. In addition to the large scale 200-300 seat restaurants they also will open multiple express concepts named Feng Shui Kitchen. These will be 1500 - 3000 s/f and have quick service with a high percentage of take-out." Shair represented the tenant. Paul Grossman and Chris Tosti of CBRE represented the landlord, Cognex Corp. The project architect was Darlow Christ Architects. And the tenant's attorney was Arthur Goldberg of Nathanson & Goldberg.
