Shopping for a cause: The grand opening of The Launch at The Higham Shipyard - June 24th

Some say "Charity begins at home," but in the case of the Launch of the Hingham Shipyard (which includes all shops and restaurants), charity begins on June 24th. That's when participating tenants will offer specials to those who've bought tickets in support of the Hingham Recreation Summer Scholarship Program and/or Arc of the South Shore in North Weymouth. Charity Day is part of the official summer-long grand opening of the Launch at the Hingham Shipyard (shops and restaurants) which begins the week-end of June 25th - 27th. Charity Day ticketholders will have access to lots of one-day-only specials at participating Shipyard shops and restaurants. You can purchase a $10 ticket to support these non-profits by: *Hingham Department of Recreation Summer Scholarship Program: Hingham Shipyard Charity Day Tickets available now at the Hingham Recreation Department, 210 Central St. or at special kiosks at the Shipyard on Thursday, June 24th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. *Arc of the South Shore, which provides programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Tickets available now at 371 River St., N. Weymouth. Participating in Charity Day will be the following Hingham Launch shops & restaurants: BG Galleries, The Fresh Market, Pizzapalooza, Vitamin Shoppe, Bodyscapes Fitness, Panera Bread, Typhoon Asian Bistro, Hingham Shipyard Marinas, Eastern Mountain Sports, Patriot Cinema and Unleashed by PETCO.
