SMPS Boston names new board of directors for the upcoming year

Boston, MA Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Boston, a volunteer organization for marketing professionals in the architecture, engineering and construction (A/E/C) industries, has named their new board of directors for the upcoming year. The new board includes twelve members of SMPS Boston, all who represent and help the organization in meeting its mission of being the primary resource for education, team building and strategic and marketing information for SMPS members and others involved in the built environment.

SMPS Boston is one of the largest and most active chapters in the Society for Marketing Professional Services. This year marks the chapter’s 35th anniversary. The organization has over 25 programs to unveil in the upcoming year and special events to commemorate its 35 years of service. 

The 2016-17 board of directors is represented by the following impressive roster of A/E/C marketing and business development professionals. 

• President: Sarah Hotchkiss, marketing & business development strategist at Commodore Builders;

• Vice President/President-Elect: Pia Cardinali, CPSM, marketing manager at CRJA;

• Past President: Anna Luciano, CPSM, marketing & communications specialist at Nitsch Engineering;

• Secretary: Suzanne King, CPSM, business development coordinator at Mass Electric Construction Co.;

• Treasurer: Karen Wilson, senior marketing coordinator at Sanborn | Head & Associates, Inc.;

• Director of Special Events: Andrea Lalinde, corporate marketing at CDM Smith

• Director of Communications: Valerie Conyngham, CPSM, director of business strategy at Harriman;

• Director of CPSM Certification: Hilary Nieukirk, CPSM, senior specialist at Shawmut Design & Construction;

• Director of Education: Alexandra Saccone, graphic designer at National Development;

• Director of Membership: Nicole Buxton, director of marketing at Margulies Perruzzi;

• Director of Outreach: Jessica Darling, marketing coordinator at Stantec; and

• Director of Programs: Michele Blair, marketing director at Chapman Construction/Design.
