Solect Energy opens new headquarters at 87 Hayden Rowe St. in Hopkinton, MA

Hopkinton, MA Solect Energy has opened its new headquarters at 87 Hayden Rowe St., marking a key step in the company’s continued growth as a leading provider of commercial and public-sector solar and energy storage solutions.

Designed to serve as Solect’s headquarters and to support its expanding team, the new facility provides a modern workspace built to bring teams together, host meetings with customers and partners, and enable regular in-person collaboration across engineering, development, operations, and business functions.

“Our new headquarters reflects an important milestone for Solect and the continued growth of our team,” said John Bodt, CEO of Solect Energy. “Our best work happens when our people are together collaborating, sharing ideas, and advancing clean energy solutions for our customers. This new space enables the teamwork required to develop and integrate complex projects and strengthens our ability to deliver safe, high-performing solar and energy storage systems.”

The new headquarters represents Solect’s continued investment in its people, its customers, and the long-term growth of the clean energy market. The company is focused on building a durable organization, improving operational efficiency, and supporting customers who are investing in solar and energy storage. As a Pattern Energy company, Solect is well positioned for continued growth across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

“We’re proud of what Solect has built over the past 16 years and the trust our customers have placed in us,” said Ken Driscoll, executive chairman of Solect Energy and co-founder. “We’re continuing to grow stronger by investing in our people, capabilities, and future. We’re grateful to be headquartered in Massachusetts, where strong policy and market support continue to advance solar and energy storage.”

Solect Energy has been headquartered in Hopkinton since its founding in 2009, and the new facility reinforces its long-standing commitment to the community while supporting its expanding customer base across New England and throughout the Northeast.

Solect employs approximately 125 people, many of whom work from the Hopkinton headquarters. In addition to the new office facility, Solect also hosts its Construction and Services operations at its South St. facility in Hopkinton that supports project logistics, equipment staging, and field operations.

The company has completed more than 900 projects totaling over 185 MW of solar capacity for municipalities, schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Solect was recently recognized by the Boston Business Journal as a top 10 clean energy employer in Massachusetts and by Solar Power World as a leading commercial solar developer in the United States.

While recent federal policy changes have created uncertainty in the renewable energy industry, demand for solar and energy storage remains strong. With supportive state policies in Massachusetts and across the region, Solect continues to invest in its capabilities to serve the Northeast commercial market.

The company plans to mark the opening of its new headquarters with a series of events for employees, partners, and customers in the coming months.
