Standard Builders receives 2013 CBC Project Team Award

The Connecticut Building Congress (CBC) has honored Standard Builders and fellow team members with the First Place Award in the small renovation category for their collaboration and diligence on the recently completed Becton Center for Engineering Innovation & Design and Café for Yale University. "The project team performed at the "high level" required by truly understanding the University's needs during design and construction to develop this innovative and functional learning space," said David Cripe, project manager for Yale University. A panel of judges consisting of owners, architects, engineers and contractors considered a number of criteria for the award including team cooperation and collaboration, timing and budget considerations, and social and economic impact.
