Stearns of K&L Gates named Legal Professional of the Year by the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global

Frank Stearns, a real estate partner in the Boston office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP, recently was named "Legal Professional of the Year" by the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global. Stearns was among the individuals honored at the chapter's 2009 Awards of Excellence dinner which took place November 5th. Recognized as a LEED-Accredited Professional by the Green Building Certification Institute, Stearns has extensive experience advising a broad range of clients, including developers, investors, buyers, sellers, financial institutions, landlords, and tenants, in commercial real estate developments. He also has worked with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on environmental enforcement, permitting, and liability issues.
