Stone of W.C. Stone Real Estate and Property Management brokers $1.1 million sale for Granite Development Realty Trust

A 12,000 s/f office/warehouse building has sold for $1.1 million. Granite Development Realty Trust sold the building at 290 Weymouth St. to 290 Weymouth Street LLC. The building is located near exit 14 off of Rte. 3. Bill Stone of W.C. Stone Real Estate and Property Management represented the seller, procured the buyer, and negotiated the leases in the transaction. W. C. Stone was also retained to handle the leasing of the building. "This sale represents a premier opportunity to acquire a first class building at below its replacement cost," said a statement from W.C. Stone. The new owners intend to refurbish the common areas, upgrade the mechanical systems, and reallocate the warehouse space for its new prime tenant Commonwealth Plumbing. The building is now fully leased to Starbro Electric Co. and Commonwealth Plumbing Co.
