Suffolk Construction breaks ground on The Victor - a $92 million, 377,000 s/f residential tower

Suffolk Construction recently joined state and local officials to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Victor, a 12-story, 377,000 s/f residential tower consisting of 286 new apartments. It is located at 95 Haverhill St., at the northern end of the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway. The $92 million project will also include 17,000 s/f of retail space and a three-story, above-grade parking garage with 138 spaces. The Victor, which will be constructed over a portion of both an MBTA tunnel and the Thomas P. O'Neill I-93 tunnel, is expected to create 400 construction jobs, as well as additional jobs through its future retail tenants. Building amenities will include two rooftop lounges, a 3,000 s/f health club with a sports court and gaming lounge, and a residential lobby and lounge. It will also feature a variety of floor plans for residents, and be built according to LEED Silver standards. The Victor mark's Suffolk's first time working with Simpson Housing LLLP, who will manage the building upon completion. ADD Inc is the architect. Construction is scheduled to be completed in early 2013.
