System Maintenance Services signs 36,747 s/f lease: Lincoln Prop. Co. and Newmark Knight Frank assist

Systems Maintenance Services, Inc. signed a 36,747 s/f lease at 2 Cabot Rd. The deal represents a consolidation and expansion of the existing office and an office in Woburn. The new facility will provide a more collaborative environment and close proximity to the highway system to ensure SMS customers continue to receive unparalleled support for their IT services. 2 Cabot Rd., owned by New Boston Fund, is a 147,037 /f office and R&D building located at the intersection of I-495 & I-290. The building was constructed in 1985 and was most recently the corporate headquarters for ACT Electronics. Tim Latham, vice president and Kevin Malloy, senior vice president of Lincoln Property Co. represented Systems Maintenance Services. The landlord was represented by Jim Thomson of Newmark Knight Frank. Lincoln Property Company, a national commercial real estate company, provides brokerage, investment sales, property management, appraisal/valuation and development and project management services to a wide range of clients. In Massachusetts alone, Lincoln Property manages over 10 million square feet of commercial space and is responsible for leasing millions of square feet of space.
