What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry? The main driving forces for my success in the AEC industry are my fascination with structural mechanics of buildings and my perseverance. I love taking apart objects to see how they function and then putting them back together
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My greatest professional achievement so far in my career is becoming a registered architect. A lot of hard work and determination is required to commit to and complete the registration process and it is so rewarding once it is achieved.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? Over the past 12 months, I’m pleased to have effectively scaled up our construction productivity to help address the massive void of affordable housing plaguing Massachusetts.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I’m proud of being a panelist at an ICSC New England event in Boston last year. I lead a conversation on the current state of construction costs in front of a room full of peers across the AEC industry.

I joined the construction industry because I wanted a hands-on job where I could physically see the progress of a project and participate in it from beginning through completion. What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My greatest achievements this past year have been earning my Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credentials and having had the opportunity to create stronger relationships with our clients.

Growing up in Puerto Rico, I fell in love with the Spanish-Colonial style architecture that has stood the test of time, historical battles, and weather. The fact that many of these structures are still standing
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? In 2022, I was awarded Hartford Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business Awards. It was such an honor to receive this award and be recognized as a female architectural leader in the Hartford area.
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I’m currently working on the new Veterans’ Home in Holyoke, a joint venture with Commodore Builders and Walsh Brothers. The new 350,000 s/f facility will replace the existing long-term care facility and will feature 234 long-term care beds.

Last year, our team completed a complex and transformative $40 million phased renovation and addition at the Lowry Center at the College of Wooster. Lowry Center is a student center and dining hall that every student on campus visits
