Taunton Development Corp. celebrates 45 years

Taunton, MA 2018 brings recognition to the Taunton Development Corp.  for 45 years of industrial park development success with Myles Standish Industrial Park, Liberty and Union Industrial Park, and their new Business Park at Myles Standish.

Myles Standish Industrial Park sits on 1,000 acres, and consists of 106 companies, 8,067 employees, 6 million s/f of space. 

Liberty and Union Industrial Park is on 350 acres and consists of 5 companies, 700 employees and 1million s/f.

The new Business Park at Myles Standish – developed in partnership with MassDevelopment – has 44 acres total, 5-20 acres lots available for facilities from 20,000 to 200,000 s/f. A new 55,000 s/f facility is under construction for a precision manufacturing company. The park has direct access to I-495; access to a large, skilled workforce; full municipal services including low cost electric, fiber-optic; platinum level bio-ready community; and  a MassEcon ReadyMass property

The all volunteer members of the Taunton Development Corp. are committed to continuing their economic development efforts on behalf of the city and the area and are looking forward to their 45th Annual meeting this fall.
