Tesla Systems, Inc. a GE Strategic Partner and GE Security have released Facility Commander Wnx v7.5. In addition to important new features for all customers, this latest release of Facility Commander Wnx provides a new software platform for our Diamond and Sapphire Pro access control system customers. The release of Facility Commander Wnx v7.5 reaffirms GE Security's commitment to continue to enhance platforms, keeping them current in technology, in competitiveness and in market attractiveness; while delivering the latest in new and enhanced feature-sets. Facility Commander Wnx v7.5 offers the following new capabilities: New operating platform support *Windows Vista *Windows Server 2008 *SQL 2008 Express (Facility Commander Wnx v7.5 Professional Edition) *SQL 2008 Server (Facility Commander Wnx v7.5 Enterprise and Global Editions) *Crystal Reports Server 2008 for external report management (alternative for the report commander option that is no longer supported as of Facility Commander Wnx v7.5) New controller support *Facility Commander Wnx v7.5 provides base software license support for M series controllers, DirecDoor and now ACU series controllers for greater flexibility and system deployment choices New system features *Use or lose it: Automatic credential deactivation based on duration of inactivity compliance policy *Threat level access: Ability to define the hierarchy of personnel allowed access per controllers *Alarm lock down: Ability to change the PXNplus controller operation mode based on local alarm inputs from global event triggers *Local keypad extended unlock/shunt: PXNplus controller support for reader keypad extended unlock command with local shunt and pre-alarm annunciation *Alarm category: Provides user definable classification of alarm records for augmenting alarm monitor assessment *New external reports: Added "Who Has Access" and "Reader Where When" reports for easy auditing.
