TC Saracen - a joint venture between Trammel Crow Co. and Saracen Properties LLC - has awarded Erland Construction the rehab of 43 Foundry Ave., a 187,000 s/f office building. The site is part of a larger, 500,000 s/f office park called CenterPoint that contains both office and lab space. After months of preconstruction planning, Erland, teaming with LaFreniere Architects of Cambridge, began this project in mid October.
Improvements to the new building will include a new façade, all new HVAC units, new elevators, new toilet cores, and various architectural upgrades to make the building tenant-ready. The project also includes demolishing three existing buildings and attendant sitework to create a park-like corporate campus with new parking spaces, site lighting, and landscaping.
