The Abbey Group signs Boston University Affiliated Physicians to 6,000 s/f at 575 Boylston Street

The Abbey Group completed a new 10 year lease with Boston University Affiliated Physicians (BUAP) at 575 Boylston St. The group will be leasing a total of 6,000 s/f on the sixth and seventh floors of the building. "Our building right on Copley Sq. is in a prime location for medical related tenants," said Alan Goodman, senior vice president for The Abbey Group. "The addition of BU Affiliated Physicians is a terrific contribution to the Back Bay community. The residents and workers in the neighborhood appreciate access to high quality medical services, and the location right in Copley Square makes it convenient and easy for their patients." "Our new location offers patients an onsite laboratory," said Ravin Davidoff, MB BCh, president of BUAP, and chief medical officer and senior vice president of medical affairs at Boston Medical Center. "We have expanded our clinical space so that it now includes 12 exam rooms with the latest in diagnostic equipment." Because Boston Medical Center is BUAP's primary hospital and referral center, BUAP patients have seamless access to one of Boston's leading academic medical centers. BUAP physicians, all of whom are board certified in internal medicine, work closely with nurse practitioners to offer patients comprehensive care, including a special focus on women's health. Boston University Affiliated Physicians joins other medical related tenants that include Copley View Dental Associates, Prudential Dental, Boston Bodyworker, Dr. Jean Kelly and Dr. Jennifer Smith-Williams. The Abbey Group building on Boylston Street has an additional 4,750 s/f available to lease immediately on two separate floors.
