The Bliss Spa opens at the W Hotel and Residences; Designed by TRO Jung|Brannen

The Bliss Spa, designed by TRO Jung|Brannen's interiors group, recently celebrated its grand opening within the W Hotel and Residences. TRO Jung|Brannen's design for Bliss balances a public space with a serene and relaxing environment in the treatment rooms. The concept for this urban spa was to soothe the senses by creating a year round summer garden as an escape for Bostonians from the harsh winters -a garden oasis of Bliss. This theme is expressed through playful interpretations including swings that are overgrown with foliage where product is displayed, light-hearted wallpaper in the lounges that represent the flowers in a garden, and mobiles in the manicure/pedicure area that suggest clouds. While careful attention was given to maintaining the spa's international brand, it reflects an individualized Boston identity.
