Portland, ME The Boulos Company has welcome two new hires: Briana Scalzone and Nate Roop. Scalzone joined the company as executive assistant to Drew Sigfridson, SIOR. Scalzone has over a decade of experience supporting C-suite executives. She spent the last six years at The Washington Post, where she most recently led product strategy and helped create a roadmap of the company’s proprietary publishing tools technology.

Roop is the latest associate to join the local office. Previously, Nate worked in delivery and logistics as co-owner of a business that contracted under FedEx Ground. Managing 45 routes in Southern Maine honed his problem-solving skills, and the strong relationships he has built with area businesses will serve him well in commercial real estate.

In other news, Sasha Phillips and Roy Donnelly were promoted from associates to associate brokers.

“We’re excited to see Sasha and Roy graduate from our associate program,” said Boulos’ VP of operations & marketing Christopher Stephenson. “They’ve both earned stellar reputations in Maine’s commercial real estate community, and we’re lucky to now have them as associate brokers.”

“Sasha Phillips joined us in 2021,” said Boulos president Jessica Estes. “She’s smart, inquisitive, and hardworking. Clients often take the time to reach out and tell me how much they enjoy working with her.”

“Roy Donnelly was hired in 2023 and months later proceeded to broker one of the biggest hospitality deals in the Bar Harbor area. He has quickly gained the trust of some of our largest clients, and his presence greatly enhances our depth in the Mid-coast.”
