The Bulfinch Co., Inc. appoints Cushman & Wakefield as exclusive leasing agent for 256 Second Avenue

The Bulfinch Co., Inc. has been appointed by Cushman & Wakefield as the exclusive leasing agent in connection with the development of 256 Second Ave. 256 Second Ave. is a single-story, 7,569 s/f office building that fronts I-95/Rte. 128 and is located three miles from the Mass. Turnpike. The Cushman & Wakefield team is comprised of Mark Roth and Michael Moynahan and Bulfinch's development team includes architect ADD Inc Bulfinch is presently evaluating the redevelopment of this location, which will register for LEED certification upon completion, for a number of proposed uses including office, life sciences R&D and retail. 256 Second Ave. is the third addition to Bulfinch's Waltham portfolio, which also includes Trapelo Corporate Center, 1560 Trapelo Rd., occupied by Autodesk and Waltham Tech Center, 60 First Ave., headquarters for the New England Organ Bank. The Cushman & Wakefield team is comprised of Mark Roth and Michael Moynahan and Bulfinch's development team includes architect ADD Inc. Mark Roth, executive director of Cushman & Wakefield, said, "256 Second Ave. offers a company premier highway identity in Waltham and the ability to custom build their space. We think that there are more companies like Autodesk and Forrester that will want to partner with The Bulfinch Cos. to achieve a signature presence." Bulfinch CEO Eric Schlager said, "We look forward to working with the Cushman & Wakefield team to achieve 100% occupancy at this unique and highly desirable location on Rte. 128."
