Branford, CT Kristin Geenty of The Geenty Group, Realtors has completed two significant multi-year office leases on behalf of Massey Properties.

Geenty represented Massey Properties in the lease of 2,200 s/f at 764 East Main St. to Simura Design LLC, owned by Kasia Lussier. Dan Lussier of eXp Realty represented the tenant in negotiating the three-year lease. Simura Design is a photography studio where founder Lussier plans to offer collaborative space and podcast facilities to fellow artists and creators. The new studio joins Nadia’s Beauty Spot, Dandelion Wellness, and Sage Roots Medicine at the office park, creating a nexus of women-owned businesses at 764 East Main St.

Geenty also represented Massey Properties as the sole agent in the three-year lease of 1,700 s/f at 780 East Main St. to Thomas Industries, a national auction company specializing in liquidating business machinery. 

Founded in 1947, Thomas Industries specializes in auctions, liquidations, and appraisals of large business equipment from manufacturing to building sectors. With offices across the United States, the company is relocating its headquarters to Branford after more than 30 years in Guilford. Geenty was the sole broker in the transaction.

These transactions highlight the continued growth and diversification of commercial activity in Branford’s East Main St. corridor.
