Lapels, a franchise dry cleaning chain, has leased space at the The Residences at Munroe Place at 1205 Hancock St.
With the Lapels lease of 1,247 s/f, one retail unit of 1,428 s/f remains available for lease in the building.
Representing the landlord was Richard McKinnon, director brokerage services for The Grossman Companies, Inc., Quincy-based commercial real estate firm, who brought the tenant to the deal. He is exclusive broker for The Residences at Munroe Place.
Locally-based Lapels is a leading environmentally friendly neighborhood dry cleaning franchise system. The company was recognized as one of Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 50 New Franchises, and has been listed among the New England Franchise Association's "Top 10 Fastest Growing Organizations."
The Lapels store joins several other retail tenants at Munroe Place including Scottrade, Starbucks and T Mobile.
