The April 12 business meeting of the Mass. Chapter of Appraisal Institute and the election of 2012 officers, directors and regional representatives will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Boston, 360 Worcester St./Rte. 9. The business meeting will be followed by the Liability Insurance Administrators' Loss Prevention seminar for real estate appraisers.
The Mass. Chapter of the Appraisal Institute will host the LIA Administrators and Insurance Services Loss Prevention seminar. LIA Administrators & Insurance Services is a national insurance administrator, specializing in errors and omissions insurance for real estate appraisers since 1977. In addition to offering insurance protection, they educate their clients in risk management and loss prevention via articles, claim alerts and loss prevention seminars. This four hour seminar provides vital information on the most common allegations against appraisers and recommends steps for an effective defense. Additionally, attendees insured with LIA will receive a discount on the errors and omissions insurance.
CE Credit: This seminar is approved for four hours of Appraisal Institute continuing education credit. LIA Administrators and Insurance Services are the providers of the seminar and are responsible for providing certificates of attendance. This seminar is approved for four of CE credit in Massachusetts (11070001E).
Cost: $50 members; $60 non-members (cost includes luncheon and 4 hours of CE credit).
