Three Ocean State Job Lot locations to sell beer and wine in Massachusetts

According to Ocean State Job Lot, a 112-store regional closeout retail chain headquartered in North Kingstown, R.I., three of its store locations in the state of Mass. are now selling beer and wine. As of this week, shoppers at Job Lot's Falmouth, Medford and Randolph stores can purchase private label and manufacturer's overrun beer and wine products at closeout prices. Each location features an approximately 100 s/f section stocked with approximately 40 varieties of wine and craft beer, most of them exclusive to Job Lot. "This is something we've never done before. Our customers appreciate extreme value, and we have hopefully created a program that achieves that with a quality offering of beer and wine," said Steve Aronow, partner at Ocean State Job Lot. After this initial rollout, Job Lot plans to sell beer and wine at two more stores in Mass. and, depending on customer response, to consider locations in other states.
