Brad Tighe of Corporate Realty Associates has brokered the sale of The Ocean Front Motel at 966 Craigville Beach Rd.
Alice Fardie sold the hotel and the buyer was Raymond Daly of Taunton Mass.
The property is a two story wood frame building built in 1955 with cedar shingle siding and an asphalt shingled roof consisting of 9 guest rooms, an office area, plus an owner apartment. Each room has two double beds, private bathroom and a balcony or patio with an ocean view. There are owner apartments on second and third levels with 5 rooms- kitchen, living room, master bedroom with sliders to deck, sitting room with sky light, office, full bath, and a large storage area. It also has a full basement with washer and dryer plus parking for 10 cars.
The motel was sold for $1.1 million.
Daly is renovating the hotel with improvements such as a new roof, septic system, landscaping, flat screen HD TVs in all rooms, and creating a larger rental unit in the former owner's apartment.

Financing was provided by Justin Comeau, vice president of Rockland Trust Co.
