Timberline Construction awarded tenant fit-out contract with Clarks Americas, Inc.

Waltham, MA Clarks Americas, Inc. (Clarks), a global footwear leader and one of the largest everyday shoe retailers in the world, is relocating its American headquarters from Newton to 60 Tower Rd. in Waltham. Timberline Construction was recently awarded the tenant fit-out contract for the new headquarters location, which will be built within a newly renovated three-story core and shell structure, and includes a four-story atrium lobby, a parking garage on the first floor and a 3,500 square-foot roof deck.

The tenant fit-out headquarters project, designed by Stantec with RDK Engineers and managed by Cushman & Wakefield, includes 120,000 s/f of office space and 5,000 s/f of storage. The new space also features open and private offices, conference rooms, a large café, an 800 square-foot data center, four large industrial-sized skylights, a model workshop, a photo studio, account showrooms and a fitness center.

This project requires extensive coordination among stakeholders, as the construction of the base building is ongoing concurrently with the fit-out project, which is expected to be complete this fall.
