Tischio and Brochin of Berkshire Hathaway complete $6.9 million sale
The North Haven office of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England Commercial Group Agents, John Tischio, CCIM and Elizabeth Brochin completed the sale of 129 Church St. The purchase price was $6.9 million. Built in 1912 for the Second National Bank and located on the New Haven Green, this eight story 89,625 s/f building is a long-time city icon. The property has a history of low vacancy, and current tenants include the NBC local affiliate, Scottrade, Liberty Community Services, and Chick-Lets Organic Grill.
Tischio and Brochin represented the seller, JMJ Services, Inc. who acquired the property in 1992. Frank D'Ostilio and Vincent Torrens of Real Living Wareck D'Ostilio represented the buyer, MOD Equities.
