Tocci Building Companies has completed the construction of the Lynnfield Initiatives for Elders, Inc. (L.I.F.E.) Colonial Village located on Market St. The $15 million senior housing community comprises seven buildings and totals 115,000 s/f.
Working collaboratively with O'Sullivan Architects, the 6.5 acre Colonial Village marks the third development in L.I.F.E.'s Lynnfield housing portfolio. Tocci's range of senior living construction management experience (from luxury apartments to complex continuing care retirement communities) enabled the effective implementation of the project's unique requirements, including its robust amenities program.
"We are thrilled to announce the completion of L.I.F.E. Colonial Village in Lynnfield, as it will provide housing and stability for the 55-plus community for many years to come," said Bud LaRosa, chief business performance officer at Tocci Building Companies. "Collaboration, cooperation, and communication between Tocci, O'Sullivan Architects, and ownership, allowed us to deliver an outstanding finished product in a timely manner."
L.I.F.E. Colonial Village includes 12 townhomes, 35 garden-style units, an underground parking garage, and a high-end community clubhouse. Each of the seven buildings features a consistent façade and upscale interior finishes, creating a strong sense of continuity throughout the development. Additionally, L.I.F.E. Colonial Village will provide a high-level of service to all residents including timely repairs for appliances, HVAC units, and hot water heaters, as well as the management of all landscaping, snow removal, and overall building maintenance.
L.I.F.E. is a Massachusetts-based, non-profit organization that develops residential units for individuals and couples above the age of 55. With two previous developments in Lynnfield (Center Village and Essex Village), the company has dedicated itself to providing superior senior housing accommodations featuring upscale finishes and a strong sense of community.
