Tognacci of Phoenix Commercial R.E. brokers $805,000 sale to MWRTA

Phoenix Commercial R.E. and CB Richard Ellis/NE have sold 37 Waverly St. to the Metro West Regional Transit Authority. The 6,800 s/f building on a .7 acre parcel will serve as MWRTA's new depot and operating center. The purchase price was $805,000. David Tognacci of Phoenix was the broker for the former owners, Thomas and Teresa Battell. Christopher Tosti, executive vice president of CBRE represented the MWRTA. MWRTA was formed in 2006 by the Mass. Legislature to serve public transportation needs of the 32 town and are known as the I-495/MetroWest Corridor. The authority uses the normal bus routes but provides smaller buses with lift capability for the disabled and physically challenged persons.
