Tom Hill participates with Team City Hall in Bob Veillette 5K

Over 300 runners came out in support of Bob Veillette, long-time senior editor at the Waterbury Rep-Am. Veillette was stricken with locked-in syndrome. The race has been held in downtown Waterbury for many years and continues to grow. It is always held in Library Park as Veillette worked across the street at the Rep-Am and was an avid runner. He typically appears at the race if he is able. To make a donation to Veillette for his home healthcare: www.bob5K.com. P.S. They all finished the race! Team City Hall - shown (from left) are: Joe Geary, chief of staff; Paul Perenerewski, Jr., president of the board of Alderman; Joe McGrath, City of Waterbury economic development director; Tom Hill III, regional commercial real estate broker; Mayor Neil O’Leary and other members of the team.
