Trkla appointed senior vice president of commercial lending at Boston Private Bank & Trust Company

According to Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, Eve Trkla has been appointed senior vice president of commercial lending. Trkla will be responsible for helping to grow the bank's specialty lending portfolio. With more than 26 years of experience in financial services, Trkla began her career in commercial banking, including eight years at First National Bank of Boston where she originated, structured, analyzed and managed complex transactions in a wide variety of industries in middle market and large corporate commercial banking groups. In addition, Trkla served as the senior credit officer of the First National Bank of Ipswich, followed by seventeen years as chief pperating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Brookwood Financial Partners, a private equity firm she co-founded in 1993. During her tenure, the firm acquired and managed approximately $1 billion of commercial real estate and corporate securities on behalf of high net worth individuals and small institutions. Trkla attended Princeton University and earned an A.B. degree in History, cum laude. She is a Trustee of Shore Country Day School in Beverly, and served on the board of directors for two public companies, including New World Restaurant Group, Inc. and UbiquiTel, Inc., where she also chaired the Audit Committee. Additionally, Trkla formerly served as a board member of several private enterprises.
