Tsoi/Kobus & Associates receives 2015 Go Beyond Award from International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories

Farmington, CT Tsoi/Kobus & Associates has received a 2015 Go Beyond Award from the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories for its work designing the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine in Farmington. The award honors lab sustainability “that goes beyond the facility itself to consider shared resources, infrastructure and services, and neighboring communities and energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable designs, systems, and products.” The firm’s partner on the project was Centerbrook Architects and Planners.

Tsoi/Kobus  has also been named one of Architect magazine’s Top 50 firms in the business category, while Building Design + Construction has named TK&A sustainability practice leader Blake Jackson as the sole Boston-area professional on their 40 under 40 list of “emerging superstars of the AEC industry.”
