The IREM Boston Chapter is underway planning for the annual Legislative & Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. on April. On April 13, 2016, IREM members will travel to Capitol Hill for a series of meetings that take place throughout the day.  The legislative committee has been hard at work confirming at least five meetings with U.S. Representatives and U.S. Senators.

Also fast approaching is the April 1st deadline for income & expense reporting. It is very important that we have the members’ participation in order to meet the Chapter’s reporting goals. New this year is an Income/Expense promotional awards program. Award recipients will receive free and half priced registration to the 2016 IREM Fall Leadership Conference. For more information, please contact the income/expense analysis manager, Matthew O’Hara at 800-837-0706 Ext. 6025 or by email mohara@irem.org.

The month of April is also Fair Housing Awareness Month! The Boston Chapter will be offering a “Fair Housing Training” Seminar on April 5, 2016 in Braintree. For more information on the Chapter’s planned events in 2016, please contact Kelley Hannon at the Boston Chapter office at 617-436-7565 or via email at iremboston@iremboston.com. You can also visit the Chapter’s website at www.iremboston.org.
