Vermeersch joins Vantage Builders as new project manager

Waltham, MA Jim Vermeersch has joined Vantage Builders, Inc., as project manager. Vermeersch is a construction industry veteran with more than 25 years’ experience.  He will plan, coordinate, oversee and provide safety management for the firm’s commercial, educational, medical, retail and life sciences construction projects. “Vantage Builders has grown significantly yet strategically over the past year, as we broaden our capacity to manage additional client projects,” said John Connor, principal, Vantage Builders.  “Jim is a terrific addition to the firm and our clients, given his industry knowledge and depth of experience.  He has a proven ability to manage projects of all sizes, in a wide variety of industries, from conception through to completion. Vermeersch brings more than 25 years of construction and general contracting experience to his role at Vantage Builders.  Prior to joining the firm, he held roles at First Choice Construction Services, JPI Multifamily Construction, and W.G. Mills, Inc.  He has managed projects from small tenant build-outs up to $70 million ground-up construction, for clients including Burlington Coat Factory, Denny’s, Macaroni Grill, Starbucks, and the Mutable Senior Living Facilities, as well as multi-family projects for and Related Companies.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
