Rocky Hill, CT Vessel Technologies, Inc. won unanimous approval from the Rocky Hill Planning & Zoning Commission for its latest development, a two-building complex consisting of 96 attainably priced homes to be located on a long-vacant site at 125 Henkel Way.

The town is the latest of several communities to embrace Vessel’s high-performance building system as a revolutionary solution to a severe local housing shortage; one that is luxurious, safe, sustainable and, importantly, attainably priced. Several other local communities are currently reviewing Vessel proposals, working closely with the company to address their own critical housing needs.

“We’re delighted to partner with the Rocky Hill community to provide desperately needed housing and applaud the leadership shown by municipal executives and staff at all levels, who’ve acted with determination and resolve,” said Neil Rubler, Vessel Technologies founder and CEO. “Connecticut, like most US states, is suffering from a housing crisis of unprecedented proportions. There’s only one answer, and that’s new, high-quality supply.”

Fabrication of Vessel-Rocky Hill will commence this month and the first residents are expected to move into their new homes before the end of 2024. As is Vessel’s tradition, pre-leasing will begin several months in advance, and company officials anticipate that the project will be significantly oversubscribed. Vessel will also soon begin accepting applications for a caretaker who is a vested member of the community and is interested in becoming a housing provider to their neighbors as a Vessel franchisee.

Vessel Technologies, Inc. is a mission-driven, venture-backed, designer, fabricator and developer of a 21st century building system that is sustainable and attainably priced. Communities, institutions, and housing providers are embracing Vessel’s innovative housing product, which reduces the cost and time typically required in traditional construction by prefabricating key components, such as wall and ceiling panels, in its own manufacturing facility. Vessel currently has over 12 projects in development throughout the Northeast with plans for national expansion.
