Vidal/Wettenstein and Baldwin Pearson Co. negotiate $1.08m sale of 18,044 s/f ind. bldg.

Interstate Battery Systems of Fairfield has purchased an 18,044 s/f industrial building located at 109-125 Holland Ave. Interstate is currently located on Commerce Dr. and the new location will nearly triple its warehouse space. Robert Shawah, vice president of Baldwin Pearson Company, represented Interstate Battery in the $1.08 million sale. According to Larry Judge, owner of Interstate of Fairfield, the new building fits his operation perfectly accommodating his delivery trucks in a great location near I-95. As a result of the firm's growth, the larger warehouse was required and will also house sales and service. The building on roughly a half acre was part of the former Bodine Manufacturing facility. Scott Zakos, partner of Vidal/Wettenstein, was the listing broker and represented Holland Avenue LLC. Counsel for Holland Avenue LLC was Lisa Kent, Esq. from Westport; counsel for the purchaser was Robert Josovitz, Esq. of Fairfield.
