300+ building management professionals met at Gillette Stadium on May 15, 2013 for the One-Day Extensive Training For Managers & Maintenance Professionals, sponsored by: NEAHMA, IREM & ARS Restoration Services. The event consisted of (4) training sessions spread out over the day. Each session had (3) topics of interest pertaining to the property management industry. Some of the topics covered were Improving Sustainability at Affordable Housing Properties - A Portfolio Approach Panelists, REAC preparation, Energy Seminar, Social Media, Fundamentals of OSHA Safety, Implementing Non-Smoking, Maintenance and the Happy Resident, Landscaping: Five Typical Concerns for a Property Manager, Stop Driving With Your Eyes Closed, Basics of Fair Housing and A Tenant's Life Creative Marketing and How to deal with difficult people. Knowledgeable instructors volunteered their time to present the workshops to the members. A tour of the Patriots Hall of Fame followed the day of learning. It was a huge success for all involved!
