W&M Construction retained to renovate/expand healthcare center at The Watermark in Bridgeport

W&M Construction Corp. has been retained as the construction manager responsible for renovating and expanding the healthcare center at The Watermark, a continuing care retirement community at 3030 Park. The two-story, 50,000 s/f center is undergoing a $10 million major improvement project designed by Kanalstein Danton Associates that will result in a facility for skilled nursing with new windows, new mechanical and electrical systems and a new roof. W&M Construction will also construct two full service kitchens and more than 50 rooms for patients, in addition to other site improvements.

Lakeville, CT Houlihan Lawrence Commercial, a division of Houlihan Lawrence, a real estate firm serving Connecticut and New York City’s northern suburbs, has brokered the sale for $3.5 million of the Wake Robin Inn, a 15,800 s/f historic inn located on 11.52 acres at 106 Sharon Rd.
