Walpole, MA Dan Waldman of Waldman Associates said that the Walpole Mall has added Duck Donuts, a popular southern donut shop, to its tenant roster. Waldman represented the landlord and Josh Kulak of CBRE represented Duck Donuts. This will be Duck Donuts first location in the Boston area and the franchisee is expected to open additional units in the future.

The site is a pad site next to Texas Roadhouse and is 1,480 s/f. Kulak reported the franchisee will be investing significant capital in the space to turn it into a prototypical Duck Donuts, which specializes in made-to-order donuts. Kulak also reported that the franchisee chose the Walpole Mall based on demographics, traffic counts along Rte. 1, and a mix of co-tenants. The lease with Duck Donuts is for 10 years with options.

Waldman has also reported CBS Acupuncture leased 1,570 s/f next to LA Fitness.Waldman has a few exterior vacancies for the mall.
